Day 1: Chennai to Vellore and Yelagiri

6:00 AM: Depart from your hotel/residence in Chennai in a private air-conditioned car with a professional chauffeur. The drive to Vellore is approximately 145 km and takes about 3 hours.
9:00 AM: Arrive in Vellore and enjoy a traditional Tamil breakfast at a local eatery.
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Explore Vellore’s key attractions:
Vellore Fort: Visit this 16th-century granite fort, a fine example of military architecture with a moat and historical significance.
Jalakandeswarar Temple: Located within the fort, admire the intricate stone carvings dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parvati.
Sripuram Golden Temple: Marvel at this stunning temple covered in gold foil, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi (30 minutes from Vellore Fort).

A night charge of Rs. 500 is applicable if the cab service is used between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
The tour has a limit of 500 kilometers.
After 500 kilometers, an additional per-kilometer charge will be applicable (to be paid directly to the driver).
For a sedan (4-seater), Rs. 13 per km (additional kilometer).
For SUV (6-seater)—Rs. 18 per km (additional kilometer).
The driver will know the local language. English-speaking drivers can be requested by you during the booking in the "Special Request" section. The team will try their best to fulfill the request, but the same cannot be promised for sure.
