About Matheran

Matheran in Maharashtra is a small hill station, located on the Shayadri range of mountains, Western Ghats about 90 KMs from Mumbai. Matheran is a panoramic hill station, situated at a height of 2636 feet above the sea level, on the Western Ghats. A popular tourist destination that is so close to Mumbai and Pune, this well-kept town is a perfect choice for a weekend getaway.
