About Man Mandir Palace, Gwalior Fort
Man Mandir Palace located inside Gwalior Fort complez was constructed by Man Singh Tomar. Its exterior is decorated with beautiful designed tiles whereas interiors are decorated with paintings of animals, human figures and flowers. It is also known as "Chit Mandir" or Painted Palace. Palace is big structure with height of 80 feet and has prison in basement which was used to hold prisoners during Mughal era.
