About Dudhwa National Park

Located close to the Indo-Nepal border, Dudhwa National Park in Uttar Pradesh is spread over 811 sq kms and is home to about several species of mammals, reptiles and birds. It forms Dudhwa Tiger Reserve along with two other wildlife sanctuaries – Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary and Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary. Tigers are the biggest draw for tourists visiting Dudhwa National Park, but there are several other animals that have made their home here, including swamp deer, sambar, barking deer, spotted deer, barasingha, sloth bear, jungle cat and many more. Several migratory birds also visit Dudhwa during winter months.
