About Pethikada, Sigiriya
Pethikada is one of the most renowned tourist attractions in Sri Lanka. It is actually an award winning gallery consisting of traditional and modern paintings as well as traditional handicrafts like wooded sculptures, statues and works made of lacquer. You can get tuk-tuks and buses from Dambulla to reach Pethikada. There is also a fusion of modern and traditional as old patterns, colors and techniques are being used to create some fabulous forms of paintings and wall arts. It is must-visit place for anyone who is very interested to see Sri Lankan art in its purest form.
