Salim Ali Lake , Aurangabad
About Salim Ali Lake
Popularly known as Salim Ali Talab, this large and beautiful lake is located at Dehli gate, close to the Himayat Bagh on the northern side of the city. The lake was named after the great ornithologist, Salim Ali, also known as the ‘birdman of India’. For this reason, the park contains a small, but well stocked bird sanctuary containing many local and foreign exotic species.
