About Leh Palace
The palace that overlooks town. Dominating the skyline, it's open to the public and it's said that from roof you can get the best view of the city. As well as this, the complex houses jewelry, ornaments, artifacts and art dating back some 450 years. It’s a fine and impressive building, constructed on what’s known as the Tsemo hill, its nine stories high with parts of the structure dating back to the dynasty of Ladakh in 1553.
