About Chang la Pass
Chang La Pass at the height of 17,590 ft is one of the high mountain passes on the way to Pangong Tso from Leh. Named after Chang baba, a shrine dedicated to him is present on the pass.A cafeteria maintained by the Border Road Organization (BRO) is there and also Indian Army serves hot tea to the tourists who pass through Chang La.
